Bjelašnica ski resort has more than 10 km of good ski pistes suitable for all alpine disciplines and snowboarding. The ski area has lifts serving a start point at 2000 m, while the finish is at 1200 m above sea level. Part of the piste is lit with high-quality equipment for night skiing, and the resort also has snowmaking.
The resort has numerous dining venues, a club, a wellness and spa centre, and all kinds of snow-related activities.
During the 1984 Winter Olympics, alpine skiing competitions were held on Mount Bjelašnica. Bjelašnica is the ninth-highest mountain in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with slopes ending at 1270 m above sea level. According to statistics, snow remains here for up to 200 days a year. As a result, skiers and snowboarders sometimes start their season as early as November. The ski season usually runs from 15 December to 15 April, with an average snow depth of 135 cm at the summit. The resort has three chairlifts - a triple and a double - and 5 surface lifts, including three T-bars and two platter lifts.
