In recent years, Kolašin 1450/Kolašin 1600 ski resort has invested more than eight million euros in infrastructure, equipment and machinery. The lifts and the two-seater chairlift were completely rebuilt. The new 6-seater Vilina Voda chairlift is the most modern in Montenegro. Following the construction of new lifts and the expansion of existing ones, the ski resort's capacity increased to 5,500 skiers per hour. The length of the 16.5 km pistes is impressive, earning the resort the title of a favourite tourist destination in this part of Europe. Thanks to its elevation of 1,450 to 1,973 m, the resort has very clean air and is a year-round holiday destination. The impressive slopes of Mount Bjelasica, the small town of Kolašin, Biogradska Gora National Park, the clear waters of the Tara and Morača rivers and the surrounding ponds are natural resources and symbols of the region. Together, they offer numerous opportunities for active recreation in both winter and summer. Activities offered to guests include skiing, visiting the canyons of the Tara and Morača rivers, and walking to the crystal-clear ponds in Biogradska Gora National Park. The resort's goal is to promote all the natural resources of its surroundings and create a tourist destination that offers every visitor unforgettable experiences throughout the year.
