What visitors say about the resort
The praise is for the price: passes, rentals and a snack on the hill all cost far less than at the well-known Alpine names. Reviewers like the wooded setting, the lack of crowds even in school holidays and the near absence of lift queues, along with friendly staff and a ski school right at the foot of the runs. The floodlit run for evening skiing is a favourite too.
Criticism lands on how modest the base is: few restaurants, shops or beds, and nothing much to do after dark. The lift fleet is almost all drag lifts with a single chair, which makes the rides up feel slow. Stronger skiers say there is little steep terrain and the area is exhausted in a day or two. Reviews are scarce and come mostly from families with young children.
