Good to know

Here you will find pistes of all difficulty levels throughout the ski resort. The contrast between forest runs and open slopes among the mighty cliffs is fascinating. The slopes in the upper part of Tofana lie between large rock faces and are mostly challenging for intermediate skiers. In the lower section, the slopes are mostly easy and wide. You can also ski among the mighty cliffs on Cristallo. Faloria offers beautiful forest runs in the lower part of the resort, as well as intermediate and challenging pistes in the upper section. At Cinque Torri and Passo Falzarego, you can enjoy panoramic views while skiing on easy and intermediate pistes that are usually above the treeline.

Lift connections

The following parts of the ski resort are not connected, so you must take a ski bus to reach them: Passo Falzarego-Cinque Torri, Tofana, Faloria-Cristallo.

There is a valley run from the slopes. The valley run from Tofana leads directly to the base station in Cortina d'Ampezzo.

Longest run

The longest run here is Tofane-Cortina d'Ampezzo No. 46, 47, 51, 45, 44, covering 11 km with a vertical drop of 1,611 m.

Most difficult run

The most challenging run is Slope No. 51 Forcella Rossa, covering 2.2 km with a vertical drop of 651 m. It is the steepest slope in the ski resort, with a gradient of 62%.

Night skiing

Night skiing is available at the ski resort.

Most pistes can be reached by chairlifts. There are also several older chairlifts. The resort also has a modern, detachable high-speed six-seater chairlift, two four-seater chairlifts with weather protection, and several detachable high-speed four-seater chairlifts. The older cable cars operate as feeder lifts. Beginner lifts are also available.

Getting there

Cortina d’Ampezzo ski resort can be reached from Venice, where the nearest international airport is located. The distance is 162 km, and the journey takes 2 h. The most convenient way to reach the resort is by car. You can rent a car in Venice here.
