Alta Badia

Alta Badia occupies one of the five Ladin valleys of the Dolomites, running from the Gardena pass through Colfosco, Corvara and La Villa to San Cassiano and the Campolongo pass. The area sits directly on the Sellaronda circuit, and the Dolomiti Superski pass opens the way into Val Gardena, Arabba and the Val di Fassa. There is an unusual amount of beginner terrain - nearly three fifths of the runs are blue - yet alongside them drops the Gran Risa, the men's World Cup giant slalom course. Another local speciality is the mountain huts cooked for by starred chefs, with published routes linking them.
