What visitors say about the resort

Accessibility and the lifts win the compliments: the resort is about fifteen minutes from Domodossola, and the installations are comparatively recent and run without fuss. The panorama is singled out, taking in Switzerland and Monte Rosa. Night skiing on a floodlit run, one of the longest evening descents in Europe, is the area's strongest card. There is a snowpark and a learning zone with a carpet lift for children.

Capacity on busy days is the gripe: two of the chairlifts are small and turn into a scrum at peak times. Snow on the lower runs goes heavy as temperatures rise, and skiing down there is called hard work. Easy terrain is scarce, with reds and blacks dominating, so beginners have nowhere to go once they leave the nursery zone. A persistent complaint concerns the public toilets, described as tiny and neglected, a poor calling card for the resort.
