Espace San Bernardo benefits from favourable weather patterns that ensure excellent snow cover from mid-December to the end of April. The ski resort is considered one of the best in the Northern Alps.

The international connection between La Thuile and the French ski resort of La Rosière makes Espace San Bernardo a unique ski area! You can ski more than 150 km of pistes linked by 38 lifts, with a capacity of 58,000 people per hour. Espace San Bernardo is one of the largest international ski areas in Europe: formed by the two resorts of La Thuile (Aosta Valley, Italy) and La Rosiere (Val d'Isère, France), a single lift pass provides access to more than 160 km of pistes. The slopes are served by 40 lifts.

In addition to alpine skiing, visitors can enjoy many other mountain sports all year round. Activities include cross-country skiing, mountain biking, mountain hiking, horse riding, rock climbing and much more.

Good to know

Ski enthusiasts will find perfectly groomed slopes from November to April thanks to Espace San Bernardo's high altitude (1441 - 2700 m above sea level), favourable climate and nearly 400 snow cannons.
