Les Arcs/Peisey-Vallandry (Paradiski)

The Les Arcs ski resort is located in Tarentaise (France, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Savoie Mont Blanc, Savoie, Albertville). It offers 200 km of pistes for skiing and snowboarding.

Welcome to one of Europe's most beautiful natural terraces! In summer as well as winter, the villages of Bourg Saint Maurice, Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950 and Arc 2000 await you at elevations ranging from 810 to 3,226 m. Here you will find clean air, plenty of space, happiness, an easy-going lifestyle and newfound freedom!

Les Arcs offers suitable terrain for all ability levels. Beginners and recreational skiers will enjoy the wide forest pistes on the northwestern slope towards the lower villages or the high alpine slopes along the Arcabulle chairlift. The best pistes are beneath the Le Derby chairlift. Experienced skiers can test themselves on the steep and partly ungroomed slopes surrounding Aiguille Rouge.

Connection information

In 2003, Les Arcs was linked to its neighbour, La Plagne, creating the Paradiski area with 425 km of slopes.

The resort has snowmaking facilities.

Valley runs

With the exception of the small village of Bourg Saint Maurice at the foot of the ski resort, all the villages in Les Arcs can be reached via a blue-red valley run.

Longest run

Aiguille Rouge. Length: 7 km. Vertical drop: 2,026 m. From the summit of Aiguille Rouge, at 3,226 m, you can ski down the eponymous run all the way to Villaroger in the valley. The upper section of the run is narrow and very steep, but you will be rewarded for your efforts with magnificent views. The lower section becomes wider and flatter, leading through a long stretch of forest to the small village of Villaroger at 1,200 m above sea level.

Most difficult run

Lanches, Crêtes, Dou de l'Homme. Length: 2 km. Vertical drop: 550 m. These three black pistes beneath the Varet gondola are ideal for experienced skiers. They are all steep, ungroomed and very bumpy.

Night skiing

Night skiing is available at the ski resort

You can access almost all the pistes in Les Arcs using chairlifts and gondolas. There are several J-bars in the lower areas for practice. However, they are not necessarily needed to access the entire ski resort. Beginners can also comfortably reach the blue pistes near the villages using chairlifts or gondolas. The connection to La Plagne is provided by the double-decker cable car Vanoise Express, which has a capacity of 200 people.
