Trail information
The largest linked ski resort in the Black Forest is located just below Feldberg, between Seebuck and Grafenmatt. Visitors can enjoy wonderful views of the Black Forest from the highest point in the ski resort at 1,448 m and, if they are lucky, may also see the Alps. With gentle slopes, inviting forest pistes, off-piste runs, an FIS World Cup piste and a large snowpark set amid beautiful woodland, Feldberg has something for everyone.
The Feldberg area is remarkably diverse, ranging from very wide slopes to narrow forest pistes and steep slopes. The resort is located on the slopes of Grafenmatt and Seebuck. Visitors can comfortably reach the Zeller lifts at Grafenmatt from Seebuck using the ski bridge. The return journey is via the Zeiger lift (since the 2015/2016 season).
Worth knowing
30% of the slopes have snowmaking.
There is a valley run from the slopes. All Feldberg pistes lead to the base.
Longest run
The longest run here is Wiesenquelle Run No. 9, measuring 3 km with a vertical drop of 400 m. The blue Rothaus piste runs from the mountain stations of the Silberwiesen and Rothaus lifts back to the Rothaus lift base station. It is one of the most beautiful forest areas in the resort.
Most difficult slope
The most difficult run is FIS World Cup Downhill No. 14, measuring 1.8 km with a vertical drop of 400 m. FIS World Cup races at the Rothaus lift follow steep slopes that can also be challenging for experienced skiers.
Snowparks
Snowpark / fun park.
There is no halfpipe.
Since the 2015/2016 season, the new six-seater Zeiger chairlift has provided guests crossing from Grafenmatt to Seebuck with a major comfort benefit. Feldberg has a good balance between chairlifts and drag lifts. The high-capacity Seebuck, Zeiger and Rothaus chairlifts are well positioned and connect most of the ski resort. The drag lifts are mainly used by beginners and as connecting lifts. There are also many magic carpets in the children's areas.
How to get there
