Ski resorts in Israel

Israel's only ski resort operates on the slopes of Mount Hermon in the north of the country, near the borders with Lebanon and Syria. The season is short and entirely weather-dependent: lifts operate when there is enough snow, usually from January to March.

Mount Hermon - Neve Ativ rises to 2040 m and remains the only place in the country for skiing. The pistes are short and mostly for beginners, while the trip itself is more often seen as a day out in the snow than a full ski holiday.
