The aspect is well chosen, with sun in the morning and shade in the afternoon, so snow holds better than the modest base would suggest, and snow guns keep the lower green runs open. The Champsaur panorama and the lit play zone are regularly mentioned.
The size of the area draws criticism: the domain is small and a strong skier will have seen it within half a day. The real weakness is the low base, and in mild winters parts of the mountain open only after a fresh fall. The blue runs face the sun, so they soften and close first, while the upper drag lifts serving the harder runs are not always turning.
