Orcières Merlette 1850

From the village of Orcières at an altitude of 1850 m, combined lifts and chairlifts provide access to most of the ski resort. Drouvet (2655 m) and Col de Freissinières (2,782 m) have ski and snowboard runs for all ability levels. This winter sports area is located in the snow-covered Écrins massif in the Southern Alps. As a result, the resort also offers additional activities such as sledding, cross-country skiing and ice skating.

The resort's ski area ranges from 1850 to 2725 m (the top of the Gnourou Chairlift), making Orcières Merlette 1850 one of the few resorts in the Southern Alps to offer such spectacular and varied slopes.

The vast majority of Orcières Merlette 1850's ski slopes are on the southern side. Only the Lacs sector and the Méollion and Favue lifts offer northwestern runs.
