The Rinderberg / Saanerslochgrat / Horneggli ski resort can be accessed from St. Stephan and Zweisimmen in the Upper Simme Valley, as well as from Saanenmöser and Schoenried in the Saanenland region. Gstaad and Saanen, the main villages in the Gstaad destination, offer very good public transport connections to the winter sports resort. Most of the ski and snowboard slopes are rated easy. Sporting, intermediate slopes can mainly be found around Hornfluh near Schoenried. There are several more intermediate and difficult pistes on Rinderberg and from Parwengesattel to St. Stephan. A wide choice of mountain restaurants, cosy huts and ski bars invites visitors to relax at the Rinderberg / Saanerslochgrat / Horneggli ski resort. In addition to skiing, active visitors can enjoy a range of attractions, including snowparks, cross-country trails and a racetrack. In the valley villages of Schoenried, Saanenmöser, Zweisimmen and St. Stephan, the winter sports resort offers additional activities such as cross-country skiing, winter hiking and snowshoeing.

Worth knowing

The ski resort has pistes of all difficulty levels. The vast majority are easy slopes. The slopes are located around Rinderberg, Parwengesattel, Saanerslochgrat, Hornberg and Horneggli. The valley run passes through wide forest clearings and alpine meadows. In the upper section, you can find several slopes above the tree line and beautiful snowy pistes. The attractive "Mike von Grünigen Run", Funslope, ski-cross slope, public race course and BMW xDrive Skimovie round out the offer.

60% of the slopes have snowmaking.

There is a valley descent from the slopes. Valley runs lead to the villages of St. Stephan, Zweisimmen, Saanenmöser and Schoenried. The slopes have snowmaking, except for the valley run leading to St. Stephan.

Longest piste

The longest descent here is Rinderberg-Zweisimmen, 6 km long, with a vertical drop of 1063 m.

Most difficult piste

The most difficult is Ostgrad West, 1.5 km long, with a vertical drop of 450 m.

Night skiing

The ski resort offers night skiing.

Gondolas take you from Zweisimmen and Saanenmöser to the ski resort. From Schoenried, a high-speed chairlift takes you up the mountain, while from St. Stephan, a slow 2-person chairlift takes you to the ski resort. Around Parwengesattel, Saanerslochgrat, Hornberg, Horneggli and Oeschseite, almost all lifts are high-speed chairlifts. T-bars and beginner lifts complete the lift selection at the Rinderberg / Saanerslochgrat / Horneggli ski resort.
