What visitors say about the resort
Snow and terrain earn the praise: Stevens Pass is among the snowiest places in the country, and right after a storm cycle there is light, untracked powder off the main lines. Reviews rate the lifts as solid and the grooming crew and ski patrol as genuinely strong. The advice that comes up most often is to go midweek, when there is next to no queuing.
Parking and operations draw the flak. Spaces are desperately short: getting into the upper lot within walking distance of the lifts means arriving extremely early, and the overflow lots sit several kilometres down the pass with a real climb back up. The parking reservation system angered locals. Weekends and holidays bring crowds and long lift lines. Under newer ownership lifts often open late or not at all, avalanche work is slower, and runs can sit closed for hours or days.
