What visitors say about the resort
Sun Peaks is valued for the dry snow of the Interior Plateau and its slopeside village, where you can step out of your hotel in ski boots. Visitors praise the three mountains, lack of queues and family atmosphere - Canada's second-largest resort is still almost empty.
Criticism focuses on its remoteness: Kamloops is an hour away and Vancouver half a day away. There is also little nightlife, and the village is small. Visitors also complain about prices at the only supermarket.
