What visitors say about the resort
Big White is praised for its "snow ghosts" - frost-covered fir trees that draw visitors here to take photographs - and its dry powder. Reviewers note that almost all accommodation is ski-in/ski-out, allowing children to ski straight from the doorstep.
Complaints include the resort often being shrouded in cloud, with visibility disappearing for days. Second, the terrain is mostly intermediate, with few steep runs. Visitors also complain about wind on the upper lifts.
