No queues and wide red pistes earn the praise. Reviews agree: the lifts stand empty and the slopes are broad, sunny and well groomed. Beginners get a practice area at the base station and a wide easy run higher up, while the Jochpiste, a Europa Cup downhill, reaches gradients of up to 58 per cent. The day pass is cheaper than at most South Tyrolean areas. The toboggan park starting at 2130 m and the mountain hut cooking get separate mentions.

Narrowness of the offering is the recurring complaint. Piste variety scores badly: the skiing is repetitive and does not hold up over several days. Access rates worst of all, with the drive up the valley described as long and tedious. There are no cross-country trails, almost nothing for non-skiers and little childcare, and apres-ski is weak. Reviewers also note that signage is almost entirely in German and valley prices are hardly restrained.
