Worth knowing

Meran 2000 ski resort attracts visitors with sunshine and expansive views. The aerial tramway reaches the plateau above Merano in just 7 minutes. Sporting pistes for skiing and snowboarding are served by chairlifts and gondolas. Families and children, as well as ambitious winter sports enthusiasts, will find what they are looking for on the slopes.

What the resort offers

The playground and ski kindergarten are ideal for first steps on the snow. At the rear of the ski resort, Snowpark Meran 2000 awaits snowboarders and freestylers. Alternatives to alpine skiing are also available, including snowshoeing and ski touring trails, as well as cross-country trails. Alpin Bob and the natural toboggan run round out the winter sports activities.

Romantic horse-drawn carriages pulled by famous Haflinger horses are also available for tours through the snowy forest and to cosy huts. Even when spring has arrived in the resort town of Merano and almond trees are blossoming along the famous Tappeiner Promenade, skiers can still ski on the slopes of Meran 2000.
