The "Pigadia" ski resort is connected to the town by an asphalt road. It is one of the most modern ski resorts in Greece, with ideal slopes for skiing. It has pistes of all difficulty levels and cross-country trails. Guests have access to a double chairlift, 5 lifts and a children's lift. "Pigadia" is the only ski resort in Greece with a snowmaking system.

The resort hotel has 34 rooms and can accommodate up to 100 guests. A restaurant, lift bar, snow bar and a beautiful chalet at the summit (2,005 m) are also available. Since the early 1980s, "Pigadia" has been developed as a training centre for sports teams, mainly because of its excellent climate and exceptional natural environment. Sports facilities include a football pitch, gym, indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and other amenities!
