What visitors say about the resort

The praise is for gentle pistes and for price. The run selection suits beginners and families, with plenty of wide easy terrain, friendly prices and empty slopes on weekdays. Guests describe a place with its own character, cosy mountain bars and huts serving food, drinks and evening entertainment, and views over Lake Mavrovo and the national park. Reviewers also note that the ski patrol has been brought up to international standards.

The state of the infrastructure draws the criticism. The lifts are worn out: the single-seat Korja chair has been running for over half a century, several cableways are simply not switched on, and reviews bluntly call the hardware wrecked. Queues are long and people push in. Grooming happens mainly at weekends, and most of the terrain is so flat that it is hard to carry speed. Guests also report rude staff and full-price tickets while runs sit closed.
