Les Quatre Vallées (4 Vallées) and its interconnected villages form the largest ski resort in Switzerland. Les Collons, La Tzoumaz, Bruson, Nendaz, Veysonnaz and Verbier: 6 resorts with 6 different atmospheres. Winter sports enthusiasts have more than 410 km of pistes, rising to 3330 m at the summit of Mont Fort. The ski resort is also very popular with freeriders and advanced skiers because of its incredible, steep terrain. In particular, the Freeride World Tour stops in Les Collons every year for its final round: Verbier Xtrême! Beginners and children also have their share of easy pistes. In addition, the region offers more than skiing: snowshoeing, dog sledding and winter walking, among other activities, provide plenty of new experiences.

Worth knowing

Because of the elevation, most slopes are above the tree line. The slopes are generally wide and offer magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and the Rhône Valley. You ski through broad, high alpine valleys surrounded by rocky peaks. From Mont Fort, the ski resort's highest point at 3330 m, a steep slope leads down to the valley. Some connections within the ski resort are possible only via long, steep slopes. However, the lifts are positioned so that you can always descend to the valley and avoid these difficult slopes. The ski resort offers excellent freeride opportunities. The valley runs to Les Collons, La Tzoumaz, Nendaz, Siviez and Verisonnaz, passing through forested sections and offering snowmaking.

There are descents from the slopes into the valley. Snowmaking-equipped valley runs lead to all the resort villages in Les 4 Vallées (Les Collons, La Tzoumaz, Nendaz, Veysonnaz, Verbier).

Mont-Fort-Siviez. Length: 8 km. Vertical drop: 1600 m.

Most difficult run

Les Gentianes-Tortin. Length: 3 km. Vertical drop: 900 m.

Night skiing

Night skiing is available at the ski resort.

The ski resort mainly has modern gondola lifts that transport guests from the base stations to Les 4 Vallées. In Les Collons and Veysonnaz, most important slopes can be reached by modern high-speed lifts. Some of the chairlifts here are also equipped with protective bubbles. However, the lifts in Nendaz and Verbier need modernisation.
