Thyon 2000

Thyon 2000- a small ski resort in the Valais region (Switzerland). The significant share of difficult runs makes it appealing to confident skiers and freeriders.

Worth knowing

The ski area rises from 1,300 to 2,700 m, with a vertical drop of 1,400 m. This vertical drop allows you to ski from top to bottom without changing lifts and noticeably changes the conditions as you descend. The upper pistes are at high altitude, so the snow lasts longer than on the nearby lower slopes. The season usually runs from 4 December to 11 April.

Pistes by difficulty

The resort has 140 km of intermediate, 180 km of difficult and 18 km of expert pistes. A total of 104 pistes are marked.

The resort has freestyle areas: snowparks - {'open': 0, 'total': 10}, halfpipes - {'open': None, 'total': 0}.

Features

Guests are served by 82 lifts. One webcam is installed on the slopes, showing the weather and piste traffic.
