Worth knowing

Continuous development has characterised the Almenwelt Lofer ski resort. From the 2012/2013 winter season, Schwarzeck was accessible via the 8-person Almen Schwarzeck lift, a modern 8-person chairlift. This family lift is the world's first child-safe 8-person chairlift with footrests, protective covers and heated seats.

The lift rises to the summit and offers a fantastic panorama of the surrounding mountains, as well as access to additional pistes, significantly expanding Lofer's ski offering. The children's area has a covered 140 m magic carpet, guaranteeing optimum comfort in all weather. Lofi Funline provides action for all freestylers and snowboarders.

Further investment has been made in improving the snowmaking equipment.
