The ski area rises from 610 to 1,800 m, with a vertical drop of 1,190 m. This vertical drop allows you to ski from top to bottom without changing lifts and noticeably changes the conditions during the descent. The season usually runs from December 12 to March 21.

What visitors say about the resort
Praise goes to the views over the Koenigssee and the Watzmann, and to what the mountain has become: the natural 'Jennerhex' toboggan run with the chairlift back up included in the day ticket, plus snowshoe routes and a groomed winter walking path. Ski tourers long valued Jenner for its open natural-snow terrain, crowds are thin and the ticket is cheap by German standards.
What visitors lament is the disappearance of the skiing. Jenner no longer has prepared alpine pistes at all: snowmaking and grooming were judged uneconomic after only around seven hundred winter-sports day tickets were sold through January 2024. Of the former six lifts, only the two gondola sections and the Mitterkaser chair remain. Earlier reviews already complained about dated two-person cabins and narrow, path-like runs, while the public money spent on snowmaking angered conservationists.
