Ski resorts in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan has 2 ski resorts.

Shahdag. The country's largest resort and one of the world's most modern ski resorts. The pistes (19 km), sometimes covered with artificial snow, run down the slopes of the mountain of the same name. Skiers of all abilities can use 12 Doppelmayer lifts - chairlifts, T-bars, gondolas and magic carpets - along with 130 ha of ski area, two freestyle zones, 5 green, 5 blue and 4 red runs. The highest point is at 2500 m above sea level.

Tufandağ. A newer ski resort with 17 km of well-prepared pistes. The runs are groomed and lie at elevations of 965 - 1920 m. There are 3 blue, 3 red and 4 black pistes, as well as four lifts. The pistes are prepared using a powerful snowmaking system.

Our choice - Shahdag. Not the cheapest option, but it offers high-quality service and comfortable conditions for families with children.
