Belvedere/Col Rodella/Ciampac/Buffaure - Canazei/Campitello/Alba/Pozza di Fassa

The Belvedere / Col Rodella and Ciampac / Buffaure ski areas have been linked by the Alba-Col dei Rossi Funifor since the 2015/2016 season. As a result, the villages of Canazei, Campitello di Fassa, Pozza di Fassa and Alba di Canazei are now all connected. The largest winter sports area in Val di Fassa also has a direct connection to the famous Sella Ronda. The varied slopes and magnificent panorama of the Dolomites make skiing here a pleasure. Those who have not had enough during the day can also enjoy evening skiing on the Aloch floodlit piste in Pozza di Fassa. The ski bus connecting all the villages in Val di Fassa is free, allowing winter sports enthusiasts to make the most of their holiday.

Good to know

The largest ski resort in Val di Fassa offers wide slopes of all difficulty levels. Most slopes are intermediate, with only a few easy runs. A magnificent panorama accompanies you throughout the ski day. The Sella Ronda also passes through Val di Fassa. This unique tour around the Sella massif provides a direct connection to the slopes of the Gröden (Val Gardena), Arabba / Marmolada and Alta Badia ski regions. There are practice slopes in almost all the villages in the valley.

The ski resort is located directly along the famous Sella Ronda and its more than 500 km of slopes.

99% of the slopes have artificial snowmaking.

There are descents from the slopes into the valley. Valley runs lead to Canazei, Pozza di Fassa and Alba di Fassa. You must take a lift down to Alba di Fassa from Belvedere.

Longest runs

The longest descent here is Belvedere-Canazei, 6.8 km long, with a vertical drop of 1003 m.

Most difficult run

The most difficult run is Vulcano, 2 km long, with a vertical drop of 722 m. This difficult run leads from the Buffaure mountain station to the Pozza di Fassa base station.

Night skiing

Night skiing is available at the ski resort.

Since the 2015/2016 season, the Funifor Alba-Col dei Rossi (a wind-resistant lift with a wide cable guide) has operated as a connecting lift between the Ciampac and Belvedere ski areas. This means that the various areas in Val di Fassa are now directly connected to one another. The new 10-person Alba-Ciampac gondola takes guests to Ciampac. Once at the top, you will find two detachable high-speed four-person chairlifts heading towards Buffaure. The chairlifts in the Buffaure section are all fixed-grip and therefore somewhat slow. A six-person gondola runs from Pozza di Fassa to Buffaure. The Col Rodella and Belvedere sections are equipped with the most modern lifts. These are mainly high-speed detachable chairlifts, some with weather protection. High-speed gondolas connect the Col Rodella and Belvedere sections. From the valley, a gondola and an aerial tramway take guests to the Belvedere and Col Rodella ski areas. There are lifts for children and beginners in individual villages in the valley.
