What visitors say about the resort
The praise is for the view: the Ciampedie terrace is called the most spectacular spot in Val di Fassa, with the Rosengarten straight ahead. Reviewers highlight faultless grooming, attentive staff and strong family facilities, including a children's park, playground and childcare. The beginner area at the top station is rated as good as it gets, while stronger skiers are left the Thoeni run of over four kilometres and the black Alberto Tomba. Access is by cable car from Vigo or three chairlifts from Pera.
Size is what draws criticism: there is little mileage, and reviewers warn honestly that it will not fill a whole day. The area stands alone and is not linked by skis to the rest of Val di Fassa, so variety means driving. There is no snowpark at all. Empty slopes come up as well - pleasant for some, but a sign that stronger skiers pick the neighbours.
