Carezza

The Carezza ski resort at the foot of Rosengarten is one of the sunniest resorts in South Tyrol, with an average of 8 hours of sunshine a day in winter. The first children's snowpark in Italy is a new and unique attraction here! Freestyle features designed especially for children will make young freestylers' hearts beat faster. 170 snow cannons guarantee 100% snow reliability. Well-groomed slopes and 15 lifts provide the highest level of comfort in the heart of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For even greater comfort, the new six-seater Tschein chairlift replaced the old three-seater chairlift in the 2013/2014 season.

When evening arrives, nothing compares with watching the mountains of King Laurin's Rosengarten glow in rich pink and red shades as the sun sets after an exhilarating day of skiing.

Longest piste

The longest descent here is the König Laurin Challenge (slopes no. 20 + 24: König Laurin + Laurin I), 7.7 km long, with a vertical drop of 1132 m.

Most difficult piste

The most difficult is Slope No. 21 König Laurin II, 2.1 km long, with a vertical drop of 945 m.

There is no halfpipe.

The 10-seater Laurin 1 gondola takes you quickly and comfortably from Welschnofen to the Carezza ski resort. The ski resort has a new and modern six-seater Tschein chairlift and two four-seater chairlifts with weather protection. The eight-seater Hubertus gondola provides access to the easy slopes at Karer Pass. Additional chairlifts take skiers and snowboarders to the slopes. Several lifts provide access from Laurin to Paolina.
