These two southern ski areas, facing the Mont Blanc massif, are connected by a cable car and offer magnificent panoramic views and a wide variety of slopes suitable for skiers of all categories and ability levels.
Worth knowing
Brévent/Flégère (Chamonix) ski resort above Chamonix offers slopes of all difficulty levels. Most are intermediate and difficult. Easy slopes are located just above the tree line, while intermediate and difficult slopes extend to the highest point in the ski area. Most slopes are on open, steep terrain. Experienced skiers will find plenty of snow and extremely steep slopes through rocky gullies above the forest. The two valley runs are difficult slopes leading to the base of the mountain.

There are descents into the valley from the slopes. Two difficult valley routes lead through forest passages to Chamonix and Les Praz.

No halfpipe
A modern 10-person gondola quickly takes guests from Chamonix to Brévent ski area. From Les Praz, an older cable car leads to La Flégère ski area. These two ski areas have been connected by cable car since 1997. The ski area has two high-speed detachable 6-person chairlifts. There is also another lift on the cableway to Brévent and six slow lifts. Some of them are rather old chairlifts.
