3 resorts

Dachstein is a limestone massif at the junction of Styria, Upper Austria and Salzburg, with a glacier at almost 3,000 m. From below, the mountain looks like a sheer wall, while a plateau stretches across the summit, offering views of half of Austria in clear weather.

Dachstein West- the massif's largest ski area, with 50 km of pistes above Gosau and Russbach. Ramsau at the foot of the mountain is best known for cross-country skiing, while Krippenstein above Hallstatt is famous for freeriding and Austria's longest descent.
