Since 2009, the Gipfelbahn lift has connected the villages of Damüls and Mellau with the Damüls Mellau ski resort. Since then, the resort has continuously invested in its lift infrastructure. Since the 2015/2016 season, a new 10-person gondola has carried guests from Mellau to the largest winter sports area in Bregenz Forest Mountains. From there, modern lifts provide access to the winter sports area below Damüls Mittagsspitze, with breathtaking views of Lake Constance.
