Ski resorts in Bregenz Forest Mountains
Bregenzerwald - the mountains of Austrian Vorarlberg, between Lake Constance and Arlberg. Its western location works in the resorts' favor: Atlantic weather fronts release their precipitation here first, and the region consistently ranks among the snowiest in Austria.
Damüls-Mellau- the area's largest ski area and one of the snowiest resorts in the country. More compact and quieter, Laterns-Gapfohl and Bödele- both are convenient for day trips from the Rhine Valley.
