With numerous pistes of all difficulty levels, beginners and ambitious winter sports enthusiasts alike will find what they are looking for at Disentis ski resort. Despite its size and variety, the winter sports resort is suitable for families, with children's lifts and playgrounds. Three mountain restaurants with sunny terraces invite guests to take a break from skiing or snowboarding.

Skiing enthusiasts will enjoy the upper Surselva's snow-sure location. Freeriders will find untouched terrain on the slopes and in the gullies around Péz Alv, even several days after the last snowfall. Disentis is known as an excellent starting point for ski touring and snowshoeing adventures.

Good to know

Disentis has a varied ski area, offering pistes of all difficulty levels and characteristics. The mountain station of the aerial tramway is served mainly by easy pistes. The upper high-alpine areas contain numerous intermediate pistes and endless freeride terrain. The upper part of the valley is difficult to ski, while the lower section has a ski run. Everything is available, from forested slopes to high-alpine terrain with magnificent panoramic views.

The gondola lift runs from the S. Catrina base station in Disentis / Mustér to the ski resort at Cuolm da Vi at 1,863 m. Chairlifts provide access to most pistes. Highlights include the two high-speed four-seater chairlifts, Gendusas and Lai Alv. Drag lifts lead to the highest points in the ski resort. Two T-bars and the people movers at Cuolm da Vi are ideal for practice. The Sax Skiwiese base area, a training area with snowmaking equipment, also has people movers.
