Obersaxen/Mundaun/Val Lumnezia

The Obersaxen-Mundaun-Val Lumnezia winter sports resort offers a variety of well-groomed pistes for skiing and snowboarding. The ski resort stretches across numerous peaks between Obersaxen, Mundaun and Vella in Val Lumnezia. The panorama extends to the Walliser and Austrian Alps. Cosy mountain restaurants and lively snow bars with sunny terraces, as well as Bündner specialities in the kitchen and cellar, invite you to relax during breaks.

Good to know

Pistes of all difficulty levels are available. A variety of runs lead across wide, treeless slopes and through forests in the lower section. There is something for everyone here. The ski area has 4 peaks (Piz Mundaun, Hitzeggen, Stein and Piz Sezner).

297 snow cannons cover 20% of the pistes.

There are valley runs from the slopes. Valley runs lead to all valley stations. There is also a valley run leading to the municipalities of Lumbrēin, Vignogn, Luvēn and Flond, from where a ski bus takes you back to the ski resort.

No. 20 Piz Mundaun-Valata. Length: 15 km. Vertical drop: 863 m.

Most difficult piste

No. 2 Carlo Janka piste. Length: 1 km. Vertical drop: 340 m.

Night skiing

Night skiing is available at the ski resort.

Several modern six-seater chairlifts, some with covers, and fast four-seater chairlifts connect the ski resort. There are also additional chairlifts, tow lifts and beginner lifts.
