Kvitfjell

The Kvitfjell ski resort is located in Lillehammer (Norway, Oppland). There are 39 km of slopes for skiing and snowboarding.

At Kvitfjell, you will find everything from steep black diamond pistes to runs ideal for family skiing. Snow cannons cover as much as 85% of the slopes, making Kvitfjell one of the first ski areas in Norway to open each year. Kvitfjell is a modern, high-quality ski resort with a capacity of 13,800 people per hour and a vertical drop of 854 m. The longest piste is 3.5 km long. The snowpark has 12 rails / boxes and 8 jumps. There are more than 600 km of cross-country trails, all starting in Kvitfjell.

Kvitfjell offers slopes of all difficulty levels. The slopes are generally wide and run through forested passages down to the valley (except for the slopes at the summit). Almost all slopes are located above the mid-station. Only the challenging Olympic slope and the ski trail run down to the base.

Longest slope

The longest run here is Gammelseterbakken Ski Road, 3.5 km long, with a vertical drop of 847 m.

The most challenging run is Olympiabakke, 3.1 km long, with a vertical drop of 847 m.

Night skiing

The ski resort offers night skiing.

A high-speed four-seat chairlift takes guests from the base to Kvitfjell ski resort. Two high-speed six-seat chairlifts provide access to almost all the slopes. There are also several T-bar lifts. Unfortunately, none of the lifts has protective covers.
