La Norma is a ski resort in the Northern Alps region (France). Gentle runs predominate, so the resort suits beginners and families with children.

The ski area rises from 1,350 to 2,750 m, with a vertical drop of 1,400 m. This vertical drop allows you to ski from top to bottom without changing lifts and noticeably changes the conditions during the descent. The upper pistes are at high altitude, so the snow lasts longer than on the lower slopes nearby. The season usually runs from 19 December to 11 April.

Grooming and snow reliability are what La Norma is praised for: a north-facing aspect combined with a large fleet of snow guns keeps cover through the season. Reviewers value the spread of terrain and the lack of queues. Access is a real strength, with the motorway exit and Modane station both under ten kilometres away and free covered parking on site. The car-free village appeals to families, and the joint pass with Valfrejus widens the skiing.
Stagnation draws criticism: the lifts are called slow and overdue for renewal. The northern exposure means little sun on the slopes, and some guests feel children are left with too much demanding terrain. A sore point is the scrapping of the old resort-only season pass for a multi-area product. Since the change of operator, reviews record visible savings on piste maintenance, and the Repose chairlift was shut down to cut electricity costs.
