The “Porsche Lift” turns 45° after leaving the base station, giving passengers a unique view of the mountain landscape. Within the ski resort, most slopes are served by modern high-speed chairlifts. The modern eight-seater Arena Express gondola and the long gondola lifts transport guests from the base to Laax ski resort. From Falera, a four-seater chairlift leads to Curnius.

What visitors say about the resort

Reviews describe Laax above all as a snowboarding resort: its parks are considered among the best in Europe, while the halfpipe is seen as a benchmark. Traditional skiing also receives praise, with more than 200 km of pistes, modern lifts and elevations of up to 3,000 m.

The main complaints concern prices and the clientele: not everyone enjoys the youthful crowd around the parks, and the lift pass is among the most expensive in Switzerland. Visitors also report queues for the lifts from Laax at weekends, when people from Zurich arrive.
