The praise is for the family atmosphere above Klosters Dorf: the gondola up to Saaseralp drops you straight at the nursery slopes, and crowds are rare outside Christmas and New Year. Reviewers single out the sunny southerly aspect and the views, called the most spectacular in the whole Davos area. Freeriders rate the ungroomed routes off the top drag lift, and the mountain restaurants, Saaseralp above all, have improved a lot.

What draws criticism is the thin choice of groomed runs: anyone who mainly wants corduroy runs out of options quickly, and the upper mountain still relies on T-bars rather than chairs. Apres-ski is described as tame, lively only on weekend evenings. The resort is seen as expensive, a deliberately smart address where bargains are not on offer. There are also complaints about the ticket office, where a request for a partial refund was reportedly turned down rudely.
