Parsenn (Davos Klosters)

Parsenn ski resort is the largest of the five ski resorts in the region and can be reached from both Davos and Klosters. Piste difficulty ranges from beginner to expert. There are 15 mountain restaurants offering a variety of cuisine, as well as sunny patios where guests can relax. The longest ski run, 12 km long, starts at Parsenn Weissfluh Peak and extends to Küblis. At the bottom, skiers can take the Rhaetian Railway to Klosters or Davos. This train is included in the lift pass.

Good to know

Parsenn is a large, classic ski resort and one of the most historic ski regions in the Alps. The slopes are mainly above the treeline. You can ski on wide, very long slopes from Weissfluhjoch to Gotschnagrat. The lower valley sections run through Davos, with challenging terrain, and Klosters, with intermediate terrain, while the 12 km route to Küblis leads through the forest. Most slopes are intermediate, with some very good easy runs such as Hauptertaeli, Dorftaeli and Meierhoftaeli. The challenging slopes are in the upper sections near Weissfluh Peak. There is something for everyone here.

Lift pass information

The Davos Klosters Mountain lift pass is valid for Parsenn, Jakobshorn, Rinerhorn, Madrisa and Pischa. The base lifts in Klosters are also included, but an additional ticket is required for Schatzalp. The ski areas can be reached by the Rhaetian Railway or by bus.

There is a valley run from the slopes. The valley run leads to Davos, while Klosters has snow-clearing facilities. There are additional valley runs to Wolfgang, Serneus, Saas and Küblis. You can return to the ski resort by bus or the Rhaetian Railway.

Longest run

The longest descent here is Parsenn descent No. 68 (Weissfluh-Küblis), 12 km long, with a vertical drop of 2034 m. The longest run, discovered in 1895, is 12 km long and leads from Weissfluh Peak to Küblis.

Most difficult run

Weissfluh Peak-Weissfluhjoch No. 2. Length: 0.5 km. Vertical drop: 200 m.

Additional offers

Since 21 December 2012, users of the DavosKlostersSnow app have been able to record their sports results and share them with one another. In addition, dedicated skiers and snowboarders are informed about attractive prices.

From Davos and Klosters, the Parsenn aerial tramway and the Gotschna aerial tramway take guests to the ski resort. Because of its high speed, the Parsenn lift is also known as the TGV of the Alps. The ski resort itself mainly has high-speed chairlifts, some with weather protection. A six-person gondola provides access to Weissfluhjoch from Schifer. The aerial tramway ascends to Weissfluh Peak. Parsenn ski resort still has several surface lifts.
