Gargellen is the highest winter sports village in Montafon, at an altitude of 1,423 m. The ski resort extends up to 2,300 m. Pleasant pistes, plenty of space for carving and the magic of the snow cover, including the Nidla variation and the legendary slope with 387 turns. The Gargellen ski resort is also an excellent choice for families: the Schafberg plateau is not only extensive and beautifully located, but also fairly flat, making it an excellent playground for children and beginners. Many slopes lead down to the valley and finish directly opposite hotels and bed and breakfasts in Gargellen.

Worth knowing

The Gargellen ski resort offers slopes of all difficulty levels. The treeless slopes of the Schafberg plateau include wide, easy pistes for beginners. The easy Täli slope leads from the Kristall lift's mountain station through an untouched valley to Gargellner Alpe. Three beautiful valleys lead to Gargellen: the intermediate Schnapfenwald piste, the easy Birkenegg piste and the easy Schwefeltobel piste. The Schafberg plateau also has a fun slope for children and adults. Practice slopes in the base area complete the offering.
