Schwemmalm

The Schwemmalm ski resort, with its varied pistes and sunny slopes, is a true paradise for skiers who want to ski on sporty runs. “Echt guat Skifohren” (really good skiing) is the resort's motto. The longest piste is 5 km long with a vertical drop of 1,100 m. Children and beginners can have fun and practise in the Schwemmi children's area at the base station. The ski school, snowboard school and all-day Bärenhöhle nursery are located in the centre of this family-friendly ski resort. Children and beginners can improve their skills on the practice slope with a lift. In the Ulten Valley, off-piste skiers will find numerous routes and unique scenery. The Schwemmalm ski resort also offers excellent alternatives to skiing. Beautifully signposted winter walking trails, snowshoe trails and children's snow play areas make this winter sports resort an ideal destination for the whole family.

Good to know

The Schwemmalm ski resort has wide panoramic slopes with an ideal gradient for skiers. Most of the slopes are intermediate. The black run starts at the summit. Beginners will find easy slopes right by Schwemmalm and Breiteben.

50 snow cannons cover 90% of the slopes.

There is a valley run from the slopes. The valley run leads to the base station of the Breiteben double chairlift. In Kuppelwies, there is no slope leading to the base station of the gondola lift.

Longest run

The longest descent here is Mutegg/Asmol/Kircheler/Sinkmoos, 5 km long with a vertical drop of 1,120 m.

Most difficult run

Mutegg. Length: 1.5 km. Vertical drop: 520 m.

Snowparks

There is no snowpark or fun park.

There is no halfpipe.

Night skiing

Night skiing is available at the ski resort.

A modern 8-passenger gondola takes guests from the base station in Kuppelwies to the Schwemmalm ski resort. At the ski resort, the detachable, weather-protected high-speed four-seater Mutegg lift provides access to most of the slopes up to the summit. A double chairlift climbs from the base station in Breiteben to the ski resort. After this lift, a quad chairlift and a triple lift continue uphill. A practice lift provides access to the easy practice slopes.
