Ski resorts in Taebaek Mountains

5 resorts

The Taebaek Mountains run along South Korea's east coast and are home to nearly all of the country's ski resorts. The mountains are not high, at around 1,500 m, but winters are cold and dry, and snowmaking systems operate on all slopes, so the season reliably runs from December to March.

Yongpyong hosted ski competitions at the 2018 Winter Olympics and remains the country's leading resort. High1- the largest in terms of piste length - while Phoenix Park is known for its snowpark and night skiing.
