Vars/Risoul - La Forêt Blanche

The La Forêt Blanche ski resort links Vars and Risoul. The pistes take skiers and snowboarders through larch forests and high-altitude terrain. The ski resort is surrounded by the peaks of the Écrins National Park, the Ubaye Valley and the Queyras Regional Natural Park. As a result, the resort boasts impressive views and a wide range of snow activities, including several snowparks, children's areas and other attractions.

Vars and Risoul are neighbouring resorts in southeastern France, set among forests that are in turn surrounded by numerous spectacular mountain peaks. Night skiing

Night skiing is available at the ski resort.

Thanks to recent lift upgrades, waiting times in the mountains have been significantly reduced. Queues in Risoul have become so short that even during the peak February season, waiting times should not exceed 10 minutes.

52 lifts allow skiers to access all parts of the ski area, including the slalom stadium and off-piste areas. This lets you explore 185 km of safe, groomed pistes (19 green, 46 blue, 35 red and 10 black) in the Forêt Blanche ski area.
