The Vemdalsskalet ski resort is located in the well-known Vemdalen resort region, at the top of a mountain pass (Skalspasset). It extends across Hovde (914 m) and Skalsfjelle (946 m). The resort offers pistes of all difficulty levels for skiing and snowboarding. Modern chairlifts serve the main routes in the winter sports area.
