Worth knowing

Together, Neukirchen am Großvenediger and Bramberg am Wildkogel form the Wildkogel Arena. This snow-sure winter sports area is located between the Kitzbüheler Alps and Hohe Tauern National Park and is one of the few remaining hidden ski resorts in the Alps. It rises to more than 2,000 m.

The Wildkogel ski resort, with a large proportion of easy and intermediate slopes, offers ideal terrain for beginners, people returning to winter sports and families. The ski resort's location in a winter sports area also makes it possible to enjoy alpine skiing, with pleasant lunch breaks featuring Pinzgau dishes.

Visitors can also enjoy another special attraction at the Wildkogel Arena: the world's longest illuminated toboggan run.
