What visitors say about the resort
The praise is for lifts unusual in an area of this size: both the chair to Pizzet and the four-seater to Albanas are detachable, which means high-speed, and the latter carries weather hoods against wind and snow. Tests award strong marks for snow reliability, helped by the altitude of the Upper Engadin, and for grooming. This is a classic family base with friendly staff and clean lift stations.
Size is the usual complaint: fifteen kilometres of piste and five lifts fill an unhurried day, but an experienced skier runs out of options fast. Mountain dining scores only average in tests, as the choice of huts is thin and the habit is to ski down to the village. And because the same pass covers Corvatsch, Corviglia and Diavolezza, Zuoz tends to be treated as a half-day stop.
