Worth knowing

The Sunshine Village winter sports resort is located in the heart of Banff National Park, just 15 minutes from Banff. A gondola lift takes you from the base to Sunshine Village at an elevation of 2160 m. There are slopes for all ability levels, as well as attractive snowparks. While skiing, you can enjoy a spectacular panorama of the Canadian Rockies.

Sunshine Village ski resort is in the province of Alberta, but from the summit of Lookout Mountain you can see part of the province of British Columbia. Thanks to the abundant natural snowfall, the season usually runs from early November to the end of May.
