Bánkút ski centre is located in the Bükk Mountains, the highest mountain range in Hungary. Bánkút lies in the heart of the mountains, near one of the highest points in Hungary.

With seven downhill pistes, four runouts, surface lifts and snow groomers, the resort offers excellent skiing conditions. You can choose between difficult, intermediate and easy slopes depending on your ability. In winter, downhill enthusiasts can compete in amateur skiing and snowboarding events. The resort also offers sledding on a dedicated track. In total, Bánkút has nine lifts, three of which are surface lifts, providing quick access to the pistes.

The resort also offers winter ski lessons, held in several groups at weekends.
