The praise is for a family resort: the area is compact and takes in at a glance, a child cannot get lost, the beginner zone is generous and blue runs dominate. Reviewers single out the very good grooming, the natural toboggan run and a ski school that gives children individual attention. The quiet is appreciated too - there is no tourist rush in the village, while Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis and the Kaunertal glacier are close by.
Monotony is what draws criticism: a confident skier has nothing to do here, and reviews say bluntly that you ski every run five times in a day and are plainly bored by the second. Evening life is almost non-existent, with a bar or two at most, and anyone wanting activity after skiing is advised to go elsewhere. Village amenities are thin, and over the New Year holidays people complained that the ski school could not cope with demand.
