What visitors say about the resort
The praise is for how small and calm it is: the area takes in at a glance and the drag lifts barely ever have a wait. Reviewers credit the altitude with fairly dependable snow and describe the mix of easy to difficult runs as varied and well groomed when cover is decent. Visitors like that the chalets and huts sit right at the slope, and the simple snack hut up top gets warm words for its friendly owners.
The drag lifts are also what draws criticism - guests call them dated and punishing on the legs. The cat reportedly only goes out every second day even after snowfall, and several runs are said to be graded softer than they ski. Lift and rental prices strike many as steep, children's rates especially. The base restaurant is panned for frozen pizza, tiny portions and unfriendly service, cash only. The ski school is a sore point, and the kindergarten closes over the holidays.
